Situation update 29/11: Airlines outside of Bkk operating normally

BKK Flights are still not operating from Bangkok’s main international airport. We have information that the airport might reopen by 18:00hrs on 29th November and will keep you informed.

Don Muang Airport, Bangkok
Don Mueang International Airport suspended operations and this led to the cancellation of all domestic flights. We have information that the airport might reopen by 18:00hrs on 29th November and we will keep you informed on this as well.
Other Thai airports
Chiang Mai International Airport, Phuket International Airport, Chiang Rai International Airport, Hat Yai International Airport, Khon Kaen Airport, Krabi Airport, Phitsanulok Airport, Samui Airport, Sukhothai Airport, Surat Thani Airport, Ubon Ratchathani Airport, and Udon Thani International Airport are all operating normally.
Thai aviation department chief Chaisak Angkasuwan said he was ready to let airlines use U-Tapao, a small airport already used for some short domestic routes and international charter flights, which is 140 km (90 mile) southeast of Bangkok

Phuket – Hong Kong: Cathay Pacific (CX); Dragonair (KA); Bangkok Airways (PG)
Phuket – Singapore: Silk Air (MI) -Samui – Singapore: Bangkok Airways (PG)
Phuket – Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airline (MH), Thai Airways International (TG)
International charter flights between Phuket and Australia / Europe.

Bangkok to Chiang Mai by road or by rail / Then International flights
Bangkok to Samui by road or train, then ferry / Then International flight
Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by train / Then International flight

Bangkok to Vientianne, Laos, but train or road / Then International flight
In all other areas of Bangkok the situation is normal with no disruption to daily life. There is no danger to tourists.
