So, did you think that the Full Moon Party only happens in Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand? Well not anymore. Last month we had our own full moon party here at Karon Beach, and it’s due to be the first of many.

The first party happened on August 16th, and to be honest I cannot tell you what it was like, because we were on our holidays far away from Thailand at the time. However, the next one is scheduled for September 14th – tomorrow – and as long as the weather is good (remember, it’s still Monsoon season in September) we will go and check it out for our Sea Bees guests.

Full moon party in Karon / Phuket

There are another two parties planned for October 12th and December 12th, and both of them will feature fire dancing, a sound (sand?) stage, DJs, games, and more. The parties will run from 22:00 to 01:00. Entry will be free and drinks will range in price from 100 – 200 Baht.
